a lesson learned; don't run for a long distance race if you have been experiencing any kind of back pain for a consecutive four (or more) weeks prior to the event... chances are it isn't just premenstrual pain!  
i share this because if you think you'll be fine like i thought i would be; stubbornness doesn't really do the body good. 
for the four weeks following your "fun run" you'll spend your entire bonus (and some!) on damn medical bills; and to make it worse off you'll be spending more time with your doctors than you do with your boyfriend.

its been a while; many of you have asked for some blog updates but i honestly dont know where to start!

life is good.

i am content and feel at home where i am at.  and thats a good thing.  i have recently been promoted and started this week at my new store; and so far so good.

i am dating this fabulous guy named dave.  many of you know him; some of you don't. he has recently moved and started a new job and also a full time grad student.  he is happy and excited to be where he is, even though our relationship continues to be long distance, dave is one of the greatest blessings in my life.

this year dave and i created our first annual century challenge...the first one to 100 miles wins; and if i complete my 100 miles before dave, he has to buy me new running shoes!

i have some unbelievable amazing girlfriends...and six of us spent a weekend in phoenix for jana's wedding...photographed below...i stole the bouquet from some girl who caught it but thought i would be nice and gave it back to her!
 the six of us were definitely the life of the party and dominated the dance floor, but that happens everytime!

its been a long time since i've posted...and there is so much more to say!

but its almost christmas and i get to go home on christmas eve to hang out with the family for a few days.  i am so excited!  i am excited to sleep in and not wake up to any alarm other than the parents cooking breakfast and the coffee brewing!
it is going to be glorious!

also; last night my promotion was announced at the district holiday meeting and shortly after the new year i will be going to my own store...which happens to be the ian's first store (he called me this morning to let me know!) fabulous!  i am excited.  i am ready and i am nervous...but it is going to be good!

this past week i celebrated my third anniversay working for the little coffee shop company!   thinking back to where i was when i applied and went through all the interviews to get the job it amazing to see how much i have grown up since then, how much i have experienced since then and how much i have changed!
  almost unbelieveable yet so incredible at the same time!
i wouldn't trade where i am at with anything... i am content and honestly loving where i am; not itching or wanting to be somewhere else.  its a good place to be....especially when that hasn't always been the case.
this past weekend i went to chico for another wedding... no i didn't tackle anyone on the dance floor this time... but it was good to hang out, see lots of people, get attacted by allergies i once was never affected by... it was fabulous to wake up and the coffee was ready for me... except this morning i walk to the kitchen to see brandon take the last cup... and deviously smile at me as he walked to the couch to read the paper!  but thankfully mom brewed a fresh pot for me!!

ever since my parents remodled the bathroom he prefers only to take baths in the sink and the only reason i can think of why he likes it like that is because he remains in the center of attention....

girls day in the city was one of my favorite days from this summer.  it started off with all these fun ladies showing up at my work and waiting till i got off!! 
my favorite days are spent in the sun, drinking delicious beverages, laughing, taking pictures, enjoying the beach...and we did all that and some!!    what more could a girl ask for?!
